Wira Desk v0.2.0: Custom Snap Sizes, Thirds, and a Switch on Every Shortcut

Snap to any percentage you like on any edge, snap to thirds, and switch off any shortcut cleanly without touching its stored chord.

This release is about giving the snapping half of Wira Desk the flexibility the cycling half already had, and about making every shortcut something you can turn off cleanly, rather than something you work around.

Snap to an Edge at Your Own Percentage

Ctrl+Alt+Shift+←/→/↑/↓

Four new actions that snap the active window to a screen edge at a percentage you set, instead of the fixed half. The part that matters: each of the four edges carries its own number.

A 60% left and a 40% right are two separate settings, not one split. So an editor on the left at 60 pairs with a browser on the right at 40, and neither is “the remainder” of the other. Set them on the row itself, in Settings → Shortcuts → Snap to custom.

Snap to Thirds

Ctrl+Alt+1/2/3

Left, middle, right. This provides instant grid placement for multi-window productivity without needing a heavy zone editor or third-party background process.

An On/Off Switch on Every Shortcut

Previously only Overlapping Stack had a switch of its own. Now every remappable shortcut has one, and it does the thing you would want it to do rather than the thing that is easy to implement.

Turning an action off drops its chord from the keyboard hook entirely, so the key combination reaches whatever app is focused unchanged, exactly as if Wira Desk were not installed. The stored chord itself is untouched, so turning the action back on needs no re-entry.
